Private Housing Event (14/10/09)
In keeping with Housing NW's remit of innovation, we organised a varied programme of speakers and workshops for this FREE event. Speakers ranged from representatives from the Audit Commission, giving advice on good practice from around the country and what they are looking for in their inspections, to the National Landlords Association about the concerns of their members and how LAs can work better with the private rented sector. Workshops ranged from:
- exploring the cutting edge of IT and how it can make regeneration plans and consultation come to life how the LHA might be messing with your housing market
- bringing empty homes back into use using TSH
- new developments to marketing government home ownership products
